Crinum ‘Cecil Houdyshel’ bloomed last year on the 4th of July. That is one of the reasons I love it so much. Our other pink Crinum powellii blooms 2-3 times a year (mostly in June), but this large-blooming pink crinum offers up luscious blooms immediately following in July. It will also bloom 2-3 times a year. The 'Cecil Houdyshel' makes big bulbs, and even though it offsets rapidly, it remains a rare bulb on the market.
