The ‘Tinka’ tulip and I have a four year history on the farm. While some bulbs have made it and some have not, I am glad to say that the ‘Tinka’ tulip has multiplied and bloomed year after year. I am sure the gophers would have eaten it had they been able to reach them. Growing them in the black bulb crates elevated above the ground, we have safely preserved them. Every year the ‘Tinka’ manages to produce blooms despite living in a confined space where they seemingly love my neglect. This response will most likely be the same with all species tulips as it has been with the other five varieties that we have trialed. However, the ‘Tinka’ tulip rises to the top as one of our favorites on the farm.

After December 1st, dry bulb sales will not normally be available, but special circumstances occasionally allow for such sales and shipping. Thanks! |
