The weekend before last I was in Oklahoma City for the Garden Writers of America annual conference. The botanic gardens were a highlight of the trip and they had several varieties of elephant ears growing in their conservatory. Days in the fall are always busy, and if you are a bulb person you should be busy too preparing beds and planting bulbs!
I enjoyed this sculpture fashioned in the form of a clump of elephant ears.
And of course they were sporting some colorful tropical bloomers!
