Narcissus tazetta orientalis The Narcissus tazetta 'Double Roman' is considered the double form of the Chinese sacred lily. Some call it 'Constantinople' and, while others claim that these are two different plants, there is no debate that the ruffles of perianth that fill the flower and offer a creamy mixture of whites and orange are a beautiful addition to any garden. The fragrance - just like the petals - seems to double that of the Sacred lily, offering a sweet, citrus scent. While they will survive in areas farther north than Interstate 20, best performance of these plants is in less frost-prone regions of Texas and the South. Large clumps will continue to offer show stopping displays for years to come. Plant this bulbs about 4"-6" below the surface of the soil.
