Quick to multiply with beautiful trumpet pink blooms in the middle of summer! Crinum JC Harvey is a delight as it is strong enough to survive the worst conditions of the South, as well as offer beautiful cut flowers to take inside. Here at the cabin, Crinums are a delight every summer. The heat can make us all believe that nothing could grow and much less bloom, but the cut flowers remind us and the visitors that there is joy to be had with blooms every season!

Although some bulbs may need a season under their belt to bloom, do the following to increase a first season bloom: plant the bulb as soon as possible, water the bulb moderately every day with good drainage for the first week (then water every 2-3 days if no significant rainfall), fertilize moderately once a week the first two weeks in the ground with a low nitrogen fertilizer.
