This lovely perennial plant is native to America. It is easy to care for and blooms snowy white in the heat of July or August. It stands 3-4 feet tall to show its fortitude against the heat. Many people use this as a cut flower in arrangements as it provides depth and a unique shape. This flower attracts several pollinators including butterflies and bees.  

 

PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS:

 1. Dig a hole about two times the size of the bulb.

2. Mix in some fertile soil like potting soil and put in the bulb to where the top of the bulb is almost even with ground level. 

3. Water enough to give the bulb a nice drink at time of planting and then water 1-2 times per week until the plant is established.
